Kerning and line spacing
Once in a while I come across a publication with some designer mistakes. In this case it's the launch cover of Vogue Homme NL where different line spacing is used within the first block of text on the top left and on three other places. For example the first word 'De' isn't correctly lined with the next two lines. Of course designers are humans too (God knows I've made some mistakes!) but these ones can easily be prevented by working on grid or checking line hights manually. Still, Vogue is forgiven because of it's ace cover image shot by Philippe Vogelenzang.
